This site has a big pinnacle top with almost vertical wall on the S side dropping in steps from 50' to 140'. The wall wraps on the W to N sides, and there are sister pinnacles on S and W side as well. Plentiful metridiums, and heavy corynactis anemonie cover on the tops of the walls.
Site is almost directly offshore from Malpaso Creek and is named after it. An alternate name for this site is 4.2 ('four point two'), indicating it's distance from Point Lobos. |
