Terrain: Pinnacle,Kelp Avg Depth: 70 Max Depth: 120 Min Depth: 40 Trip Reports: View trip reports for Outer Pinnacles Outer Pinnacles is a fairly large pinnacle formation, and lies about 400m south of the Pinnacles area in Carmel Bay. The main area has walls and canyons that extend from 100' to 50' and some shallower area around. The deeper sloping edges are covered in Pleurophycus kelp, which forms a thick understory in the spring and summer months.
