A midweek night dive. Topside conditions were perfect, no wind, no surf, clear skies.
We entered the water at the far end of the beach, and dropped down near the shore. Our objective was to scout out good nightlife along the sandy floor, so we did a big U: out to Metridium Fields, then SE along the 40ft depth contour past middle reef, and in along the Breakwater wall.
Best action was on the sandy section just SE of the Metridium Fields with good macro subjects! An excellent dive around a section of Breakwater area less often visited. |
