|Susan and I took our lunch brake at Point Lobos. We were hoping for 100ft vis and calm seas. We go half of that. It was really calm but vis was about 10-5ft on the sand channel at about 3ft at the L. Metridium and it was worse the deeper we go.|
We adapted our Twin Peaks dive plan and spent 60min looking inside cracks for small stuff from L. Metridium to the worm patch.
We found a very large wolf eel (6-8ft long) swimming around the kelp. This is the largest we have ever seen. We also saw two nice kelp gunnels, near the hole in the wall.
Not bad for a lunch break :-), I hope vis get better soon.
