Deco Profile:
2 Teams of 2, myself and Beto and Sami and Delia diving today on the Escapade. We were going to go to Carmel but it was too rough so we bailed to the Mile Buoy where it was fairly flat. It was murky near the surface but nice at depth. Delia and Sami found a Tochuina tetraquetra eating a red gorgonian which I filmed.

Later Beto and I found a small wolf eel. There were lots of sea pens in the sandy areas including the Orange Sea Pen Ptilosarcus gurneyi. Deco was straighforward though I learned the hard way that Halcyon 75 foot spools only come with about 55 feet of line! Doh! Good thing Beto had a larger one. We got my lift bag back after we surfaced.
